Where is Pigweed found?

Pigweed is found in many parts of the world, including Europe, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Afghanistan, Australia, Brazil, Korea, Mozambique, Mexico, and the United States. Within America, pigweed is found in the Southeast, South Central, Northeast, Midwest, and Southwest regions. It is essentially found in every state except those in the Northwest (Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington).

Pigweed was one of the most important crops for the ancient Aztecs. hey made a dough by combining ground seed of pigweed, corn, and honey. They ate the mixture during various ceremonies.
